What is Elina Ivashchenko famous for?
Elina Ivashchenko was born in Brovary. She was orphaned early: her mother died when the girl was 2 years old, and her father left the family. Therefore, Elina was raised by her grandparents.

The girl began singing at the age of 5 and studied at the Brovary Music School. In 2016, she became the winner of the project “The Voice. Children” – the mentorship of Tina Karol led her to triumph.

The singer does not hide that after the project she “caught” star disease. In particular, she missed rehearsals.
I thought I had won everything in this world and now everything would work out. At first, it really was like that. The phone was bursting with calls, invitations to performances, corporate parties. I thought it would always be like this, I was just “carried away”,
– Elina recalled.
A year later, Elina Ivashchenko became a presenter at the Nashe Radio station, as well as a teacher at the school of Viktor Pavlik's son, Oleksandr. In 2018, she triumphed at the Black Sea Games festival.
In 2019, Elina Ivashchenko appeared again in a talent show – this time on “X-Factor”. She got into Igor Kondratyuk's team and won. After the triumph, she collaborated with sound producer Vadim Lysitsya, but did not write her own songs.

The following year, the artist tried her hand at the National Selection for Eurovision 2020. She performed with the song Get Up and took 5th place.

In July 2020, Elina Ivashchenko took part in the Slavonic Bazaar festival in Belarus. Then the singer was involved in a scandal, as the judges included Putinist Oleg Gazmanov.
Life after a full-scale invasion
After the start of the full-scale war, Elina Ivashchenko left Ukraine with her family, because at that time it was dangerous in the Kyiv region. Within a few months, the girl began to run out of money for living. As one of those who had a job in the family, she decided to take responsibility. The girl went abroad to work on cruise ships.
During the Great War, the singer also lost her grandfather. She managed to be in Ukraine at that time and say goodbye to her loved one.
For me it was a huge tragedy. It broke me. I went through rehabilitation with a psychologist for a very long time, because he was the person who supported me all my life. At one point he was gone,
– Ivashchenko admitted.
Elina also said that after her grandfather died, her grandmother also fell ill. This was another blow. However, she went abroad again to earn money, and also worked as a vocal teacher.
“On my first contract, I worked every day, I learned 44 songs in five languages. They didn't offer Russian – but I would have refused,” the artist noted.
