Eleven more children returned to Ukraine from Russian occupied territories

As part of President Volodymyr Zelensky's Bring Kids Back UA initiative, another 11 Ukrainian children were returned from the temporarily occupied territories and from Russia.

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, announced this on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.

Among the rescued children are two brothers, aged 10 and 12, whose father was tortured to death for his pro-Ukrainian position.

“After his death, the mother made the final decision to leave the temporarily occupied territory together with her sons. A two-year-old child and a pregnant woman who refused to accept Russian documents on principle were also evacuated. However, this refusal did not allow her to leave the occupation on her own. Once in the territory controlled by Ukraine, she safely gave birth to another child,” Yermak wrote.

He expressed gratitude to the team of the Office of the Ukrainian Ombudsman for their efforts in organizing the rescue operation, as well as to everyone who took part in this critically important process.

“We are fulfilling the president's mission to bring all our children home,” he said.
