Easter celebrations from home should curb COVID-19 spread in Ukraine – health minister

Orthodox Christians will celebrate Easter on April 19.

Ukrainian Health Minister Maksym Stepanov says Easter celebrations from home on April 19 should curb the spread of the novel coronavirus in Ukraine.

“Once again, I’d like to emphasize, appealing to the Ukrainians, that it is very important for us to celebrate Easter at home, online, since in our opinion this will stop the spread of this disease in Ukraine,” the minister said at an online briefing, according to a UNIAN correspondent.
