As reported by Ukrinform, the Security Service of Ukraine informed about this.
Both spy agents were exposed in January of this year.
It was established that Russian intelligence agencies recruited the man through his sister, who, at the beginning of the full-scale conflict, left for Russia and began collaborating with the occupiers.
The FSB used this same woman to recruit a second member of the hostile cell – her friend from Kramatorsk.

The “connecting” link between these two spies and their “curator” from the Russian special services was a relative of the convicted man.
The occupiers planned to use the intelligence collected by the criminals to organize offensive operations on the Eastern Front using aerial bombs, loitering munitions and all types of artillery.
During the searches, law enforcement agencies seized mobile phones from both suspects containing anonymous instant messaging messages through which they coordinated their actions with hostile intelligence services.

Based on the evidence collected by the SBU, the court found the agent guilty under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – high treason committed under martial law.
The criminal case against the convicted man’s accomplice is currently being heard in court.
According to Ukrinform, an agent of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (GRU), who, as part of an enemy combat group, blew up a car with a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kharkov last summer, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
