Coronavirus update for Ukraine: 311 cases, eight deaths, five recoveries as of March 28

Ninety-three new cases were confirmed over the past 24 hours.

Ukraine’s Health Ministry in its morning update says the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases across Ukraine has reached 311, with eight lethal ones.

Five patients have fully recovered (4 adults and a child), the report adds.

In particular, 16 cases were reported in Vinnytsia region, two in Volyn region, seven in Dnipropetrovsk region, two in Donetsk region, four in Zhytomyr region (including one lethal case), 10 in Zaporizhia region, 28 in Ivano- Frankivsk region (including three lethal cases), 74 in the City of Kyiv, 41 in Kyiv region, five in Lviv region, two in Luhansk region, one in Mykolayiv region, six in Odesa region, one in Poltava region, nine in Rivne region (including one lethal case), 43 in Ternopil region (including one lethal case), one in Kharkiv region, one in Kherson region, one in Khmelnytsky region, 47 in Chernivtsi region (including one lethal case and five recoveries), three in Cherkasy region, and one in Chernihiv region.

The studies were conducted at the Center for Public Health in Kyiv, as well as regional labs.

Since the beginning of 2020, the Center has received 1,712 reports on Covid-19 suspicion.
