Britney Spears' ex-husband, model Sam Asghari, has responded to the singer's recent arrest, saying people make mistakes.
Asghar was asked about his ex-wife's arrest in an interview with Fox News on Friday, March 6. The Tehran native noted that he is primarily focused on the war in Iran.

Britney Spears was arrested on the evening of March 4 in Ventura, California, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The singer was released home the next morning.
A press release issued by California Highway Patrol Public Relations Officer Ryan Ayers states that Britney was driving a black BMW 430i and was speeding, so the car was pulled over.
Spears was tested for alcohol abuse before she was arrested, and Ayers said it looked like “driving under the influence of a combination of drugs and alcohol.”
The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Chemical test results are pending. In a statement to People, a representative for the artist said the arrest was “an unpleasant incident that is completely inexcusable.”
