During her school years, the performer was engaged in acrobatics, and later entered the Chernivtsi Music College, where she studied at the conducting and choral departments. Her student years gave her the impetus to perform on stage.

But in 2005, Aurika's husband died of a stroke. The singer never remarried.
My husband was very generous, kind, and intelligent to me. He was so perfect for me that all these years after he left, I realized that I would never meet such a person again.
