All those released from Russian captivity to get assistance

All Ukrainian defenders released from Russian captivity on Wednesday will receive the required assistance.

President Vodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine stated this in an evening video address to the nation, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"They are warriors from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, and border guards. Most of the pele in today's exchange are privates and sergeants, seven are officers. Many of them have been seriously injured, one of the guys has cancer. Everyone will get the help they need. And it is important that, among these guys, there is one who was considered a missing person. We are looking into all the circumstances of each of our warriors, and it is a blessing when we manage to find those for whom we had the least he," Zelensky noted.

The head of the Ukrainian state recalled that the Ukrainian authorities had already managed to bring back home from Russian captivity a total of 3,405 pele.

"We must bring them all back. We are doing our best to ensure this. I thank everyone in the world who is helping. I am grateful to the United Arab Emirates for mediating today's release," said the president.

As reported, on July 17, another 95 Ukrainians were returned from Russian captivity to Ukraine as a result of the latest POW exchange effort.
