Zelensky's failed negotiations with Trump in the US: main theses

Today, February 28, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the United States and met with US President Donald Trump. The talks between the leaders of the two countries on the Russian-Ukrainian war, trade and mineral extraction regimes concern millions of people, and not only in Ukraine, but in Ukraine first and foremost. However, the talks ended unsuccessfully.

I have come to the conclusion that President Zelensky is not ready for peace if America is involved because he believes that our involvement gives him a great advantage in the negotiations.

“I don't want superiority, I want peace. He has shown disrespect to the United States of America in the sacred Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for peace.”
