
Law enforcement officers in the capital have detained four Kyiv residents. They are suspected of destroying two military vehicles and a rescue vehicle at the behest of the Russians.
This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Kyiv.
It is noted that two suspects were detained by law enforcement officers in the Desnyanskyi district of the capital. The investigation established that they used a flammable substance to set fire to a serviceman's car on Chervonaya Kalyna Avenue. This was the task from the Russians. For this, they were promised $1,500, which they did not receive.

“Two more suspects – brothers – were exposed by law enforcement officers in the Dnipro district of Kyiv. In the hope of receiving $2,500 from the handlers of the enemy special services, the attackers set fire to a Volkswagen car belonging to a military man at night, as well as a BMW owned by a rescuer of the State Emergency Service,” the report says.

The men were detained shortly after the arsons. They were charged under Part 1 of Article 114-1. Obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations during a special period by prior conspiracy by a group of persons and Part 2 of Article 194 Deliberate destruction of property of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty is up to ten years in prison.
It was previously reported that the capital's law enforcement officers reported suspicions to two residents of the Kirovohrad region. They are accused of setting two cars on fire in Pechersk. The suspects explained that they committed the arson on order and expected to receive 100 thousand hryvnias for the “work”.
Two men suspected of setting fire to military vehicles on behalf of Russian special services were also detained in Kyiv. According to investigators, they were promised up to $15,000 for carrying out sabotage tasks, including setting fire to vehicles and administrative buildings.
