
A delegation from the city of Tartu, Republic of Estonia, visited the capital's educational institutions to learn how Kyiv organizes safe training during a full-scale war.
This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Valentyn Mondryivskyi.
“During the years of full-scale war, Kyiv managed not only to survive, but also to ensure the sustainability of the educational process for 264 thousand students… In today's conditions of instability, our experience is truly valuable for colleagues from European countries,” the official noted.
As part of the visit, the delegation visited the Scandinavian Lyceum, preschool education institution No. 741, and Lyceum No. 315.
“During the meetings, the Estonian partners got acquainted with the organization of the educational process under martial law, the operation of shelters, algorithms for actions during air raids, as well as the teaching of the subject “Defense of Ukraine,” the report says.

As reported by the Kyiv City State Administration, representatives of the Estonian delegation were, in particular, interested in the sequence of actions in the event of hostilities — from the level of state institutions to specific algorithms for school and kindergarten employees, ensuring the continuity of education during blackouts, and approaches to arranging shelters.

During the visit, the delegation of the city of Tartu donated office equipment to Kyiv educational institutions.
