The Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office announced the termination of the activities of an organized group. According to the investigation, the group members sold almost 3 kg of drugs every month with a turnover of over 17 million hryvnias.

The investigation established that the organizer was a 40-year-old native of the Kherson region, previously convicted of drug trafficking. He was responsible for the supply of cocaine to Ukraine. The coordinators were his friends, including a 39-year-old native of Russia.
According to the case materials, the suspects set up places for storing and packaging drugs in rented apartments in Kyiv and the region. The cocaine was distributed in doses of 1 gram, disguising the packages as wet wipes. The price is 150-200 US dollars per gram. According to the police, the cocaine was smuggled into Ukraine from Latin American countries through Europe.
“Orders were accepted through closed Telegram chats, deliveries were made by couriers disguised as taxis, and according to the investigation, among the clients were representatives of show business. During 55 authorized searches, more than 2 kg of cocaine ready for sale, mobile phones, electronic scales, packaging materials, laptops, bank cards, draft accounting, and almost 1.5 million hryvnias were seized,” the report says.
Law enforcement officers reported 16 citizens on suspicion. They are in custody. The sanction of Part 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – illegal sale of narcotic drugs committed by a group of persons in a prior conspiracy, provides for up to 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
It was previously reported that law enforcement officers in Kyiv uncovered an extensive network of drug laboratories. According to police, it was organized by two Kyiv residents. Every month, the suspects produced up to 25 kg of amphetamine and LSD. Their value on the shadow market can reach 2.5 million UAH. The manufactured drugs were distributed in the capital and other regions.
The capital's law enforcement officers also reported that they had exposed a group of drug dealers who were selling drugs and psychotropic substances throughout Ukraine. They were sent by mail in packages with chocolate cookies, and also passed from hand to hand. The profit from these sales was about 1.5 million hryvnias per month.
