Some kindergartens and schools in Kyiv are being merged due to heating problems. The institutions are being built into one.
This was announced by Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Valentyn Mondryivskyi.
This model is already being used in the Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Solomyanskyi districts. Pupils from individual kindergartens are being temporarily transferred to kindergartens with heating.
“This makes it possible not to interrupt the educational process and at the same time maintain comfortable conditions for children,” said Mondryivskyi.
In schools, the educational process continues in various formats — full-time, blended, or distance learning. It depends on the situation in a particular institution.
At the same time, schools in the Troyeschyna and Pechersk districts are gradually beginning to resume work in an in-person format.
