A foreigner was detained in Kyiv who committed a shooting in the Svyatoshynskyi district and wounded his acquaintance with a traumatic weapon.
This is reported by the metropolitan police.
An investigative and operational team and an ambulance arrived at Symyrenko Street, which hospitalized a 36-year-old local resident with gunshot wounds to his shins and thigh, as well as a fractured arm.
It was established that a 39-year-old citizen of a Middle Eastern country living in Kyiv was involved in the crime. There was a long-standing conflict between the men, so the foreigner called and asked to go outside to talk.
In the midst of the argument, he pulled out a traumatic pistol and fired at least seven shots at the man. The foreigner was reported on suspicion of hooliganism with the use of a weapon. He faces up to 7 years in prison for the crime.
