A 41-year-old woman will go on trial in Kyiv. She is accused of setting fire to the doors of her friends' apartments in the Obolonskyi district of the city due to conflicts.
This was reported today, May 4, by the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
It is noted that the Obolon District Prosecutor's Office has sent charges to the court regarding the arson of the doors of two apartments.

According to the investigation, in February of this year, a Kyiv woman set fire to her husband's door out of jealousy. A month later, after an argument during a feast, she set fire to the front door of another acquaintance, a person with a disability of group II.
“In both cases, the fire quickly spread to the faux leather upholstery, creating a real danger to the occupants and their property,” the report said.
The actions of the accused were classified by law enforcement officers under Part 2 of Article 194 Intentional damage to another's property committed by arson of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for up to ten years of imprisonment.
It was previously reported that a Kyiv resident was detained on suspicion of setting three cars on fire in the Dnipro district after a conflict with a neighbor. According to investigators, the man set fire to a rag and threw it at the cars. As a result of the fire, the woman's vehicle and a neighboring car were completely destroyed, and another car was damaged.
