The Shevchenko District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv has filed charges against a family doctor. She is suspected of facilitating the illegal transfer of a conscripted man across the state border of Ukraine.

The investigation established that the family doctor helped the man with the preparation of medical documents. They were to become the basis for obtaining the third group of disability. Later, he could go abroad. For the “launch” of the documents, the defendant received $ 1,000.
“A patient who had no health problems was fictitiously treated in a hospital and provided with X-rays and other certificates via the Viber messenger. The doctor also promised full support for this patient during the registration of a disability group. The price of all services is $6,000,” the report says.
Also, according to the case materials, the suspect, through the doctor's personal account in “eHealth”, knowingly entered false information regarding the patient's preliminary diagnosis. She was detained in February last year after receiving $5,000.
The investigation was conducted under Part 3 of Article 332 Assistance in the illegal smuggling of persons across the state border of Ukraine by advice, instructions, provision of means and removal of obstacles, committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons, for selfish motives of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for up to 9 years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years and confiscation of property.
It was previously reported that law enforcement officers in the Kyiv region have dismantled a scheme for illegally transporting conscripts across the border. According to preliminary data from law enforcement officers, dozens of people were able to leave Ukraine under this scheme in six months. The total turnover is about 110 thousand US dollars. The probable organizer of the scheme is a 40-year-old native of Lviv, who currently lives in the Kyiv region.
