Law enforcement officers detained a suspect in Kyiv. According to the case materials, he promised to organize the transfer of a serviceman to serve in the rear for money.

The investigation found that a 25-year-old resident of Kyiv region demanded money from a serviceman. It was about assistance in transferring him to a unit located in the capital. He estimated his “services” at $3,500.

“According to the agreement, the funds were to be transferred in parts: $2,000 in advance, and the remaining $1,500 after the start of service in the rear unit. Law enforcement officers detained the attacker,” the report says.

The defendant was informed of suspicion under Part 5 of Art. 27, Part 3 of Art. 368 Aiding an official in obtaining an unlawful benefit, for the commission by such an official in the interests of the person providing the unlawful benefit of any action using the official position granted to him, committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons. Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for up to ten years of imprisonment.

On May 1, law enforcement officers reported the detention of a 35-year-old Kyiv resident on suspicion of receiving money. The case involved the transfer of a serviceman from a combat unit to a rear unit. The suspect estimated his “services” at $10,500. After receiving the money, law enforcement officers detained the suspect.
