SBU exposed FSB intelligence group that coordinated missile strikes on Ukraine
The Security Service of Ukraine exposed an FSB intelligence group that was passing on to the Russians the coordinates of Ukrainian military facilities for missile strikes.
Three attackers spied in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Lviv regions.

How did the spy group operate?
The attackers were transmitting coordinates for strikes on:
- military airfields;
- reserve command posts;
- Ukrainian military training centers;
- armored vehicles and UAV repair plants.
The FSB agents were three local residents aged 23, 34 and 40, who were recruited remotely via Telegram channels with “quick money”. They all worked under the supervision of a personnel officer from the FSB's Black Sea Fleet Department, whose identity has already been established by the SBU.
What is known about the detainees?
The attackers operated in various regions of Ukraine:
- In Lviv, one of the agents got a job as a freight forwarder at a construction company that performed contracts for military units in order to obtain intelligence.
- A resident of the Kyiv region traveled around the region, trying to identify the main airfields with combat aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- A resident of Kharkiv was collecting information about the location of military equipment and the places of the largest concentration of Defense Forces personnel.
In addition, the Kharkiv resident asked his acquaintances about companies that repair Ukrainian military equipment.
Detention and punishment
The SBU detained agents “red-handed” during reconnaissance near military facilities. They seized mobile phones with anonymous chats, through which they transmitted data to Russian special services.
All three detainees have been charged under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law). They are in custody and face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The special operation was conducted by SBU officers in Kyiv and Kyiv region under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General's Office.
