
The Kyiv Metro has announced a spring recruitment for electric train driver courses. The courses are free of charge with a monthly stipend of 13,000 hryvnias.
This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration with reference to the Kyiv Metro Enterprise.
Requirements for the candidate: age 18 or older, excellent health, which will be checked by doctors, education – complete secondary school, professional (vocational and technical) will be an advantage.
During the theoretical block, students will study traffic safety rules and systems, the structure and technical features of trains, etc. The practical block includes: 10 weeks of train practice on metro lines, work in an electrical depot, and practicing maneuvers and actions in emergency situations.
The training will be conducted by train instructors with extensive experience in passenger transportation. The number of places is limited to 30 students, 10 people per depot. After successfully completing the training and passing the exams, graduates will receive the right to drive a train and begin independent work.
Training schedule : Monday – Thursday: from 8:00 to 17:00, Friday: from 8:00 to 15:45, Saturday – Sunday: weekend.

- without a class (for those who have just mastered the profession and started working) — from 40,000 UAH
- Class III — from 47,000 UAH
- Class II — from 50,000 UAH
- First class – from 60,000 UAH.

You can apply until April 1. The training will begin on April 6 and will last 25 weeks, until October of this year. The company provides for the reservation of military personnel.
