Killed during shelling: Kyiv bids farewell to 11-year-old Maksym Veremchuk

On Saturday, April 18, Kyiv said goodbye to 11-year-old Maksym Veremchuk. The boy was killed on April 16 during a massive Russian attack. In total, four people were killed and more than 60 were injured in the capital that night.

The farewell ceremony took place in the Podilskyi district in the Syretski Sady residential complex near the house where the boy lived and which was hit by the Russian army, a correspondent for Suspilny reports.

About a hundred people came to see Maxim off: relatives, familiar families, and neighbors.

Maksym Veremchuk was a 5th grader at the Children's Engineering Academy. He was killed in his own bed during the Russian attack.
