
In Boryspil, Kyiv region, a 29-year-old man is suspected of shooting while drunk in a local store and in a nearby yard.
This was reported by the Kyiv region police on March 11.
According to law enforcement, a local resident entered one of the stores, pulled out a gun and fired towards the shelves with alcohol. After that, he went outside and fired several more shots in the area adjacent to the establishment.
“Later, the shooter returned to the store and, while talking to employees, demonstratively placed the gun on the counter,” the police said.
One of the customers, seeing the man with the gun, led him out of the store.
The suspect was charged under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — gross violation of public order for reasons of obvious disrespect for society with the use of an object prepared in advance to inflict bodily harm. The sanction of the article is up to 7 years in prison.
