In Kyiv, law enforcement officers have located a man suspected of dancing to music on the territory of the “People's Memorial” on Independence Square. The suspect posted a video on social media.

It is noted that the police discovered the video of the incident while monitoring social media. The recording shows a man dancing directly on the territory of the memorial honoring the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine.
The police identified the man as a 40-year-old foreigner who has been living in Ukraine for several years. They searched for him and filed a report under Art. 173 It entails the imposition of a fine of three to seven tax-free minimum incomes of citizens or community service for a period of forty to sixty hours, or correctional labor for a period of one to two months with a deduction of twenty percent of earnings, or administrative arrest for a period of up to fifteen days. On February 26, law enforcement officers reported the detention of a man who had mocked the “People's Memorial” in memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine on Maidan Nezalezhnosti the day before. He filmed himself and posted it on social media. In the videos, the man had a mustache; the police specified that he later shaved it off so that he would not be recognized and found. According to law enforcement officers, the suspect is a 37-year-old Kyiv resident. After his detention, he was unable to explain his actions.
