
Law enforcement officers reported the exposure of a group in Kyiv. According to the case materials, its members were trafficking drugs and psychotropic substances in the capital.
This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Kyiv.
The investigation established that five Kyiv residents — two men and three women — were involved in the illegal business. Their ages ranged from 34 to 46.
“We received information about a drug network operating in Shevchenkivskyi and other districts of Kyiv. It was established that the suspects packaged drugs in rented apartments and their own homes, after which they transferred them to customers through taxi services,” said Ihor Padiuk, head of the Shevchenkivskyi Police Department.

Every month, the suspects produced up to 25 kg of amphetamine and LSD. Their value on the shadow market can reach 2.5 million UAH. The manufactured drugs were distributed in the capital and other regions.
The capital's law enforcement officers also reported that they had exposed a group of drug dealers who were selling drugs and psychotropic substances throughout Ukraine. They were sent by mail in packages with chocolate cookies, and also passed from hand to hand. The profit from these sales was about 1.5 million hryvnias per month.
