
Kyiv police have detained four Kyiv residents aged 42 to 52 on suspicion of trafficking cannabis throughout Ukraine. They face up to ten years in prison.
This was reported to the Kyiv police.
According to investigators, the dealers sold cannabis to customers both in the capital and by mail to other regions.

The police said they conducted searches at the suspects' residences and seized, in particular, almost one and a half kilograms of cannabis in various forms, packaging and weighing equipment, as well as ammunition and a gun.
“The estimated value of the seized narcotics at “black market” prices is about 500 thousand hryvnias,” the report said.

The detainees were charged under Part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, and storage of narcotic drugs for the purpose of sale. They face up to ten years in prison with confiscation of property.
