
The Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office has filed charges against a forester and a forest foreman. They work at one of the farms of the State Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine” in the Kyiv region. They are suspected of forging documents to obtain money.

According to the case materials, the officials wanted to illegally seize the money of a state-owned enterprise. To do this, they allegedly entered false information into official documents. The matter was about the alleged logging of several areas.
“Later, these documents were transferred to the company's accounting department as confirmation of the performance of work by logging contractors. Based on such documents, it was planned to receive about UAH 100,000 in budget funds. In fact, no work was carried out on the indicated areas,” the report says.
The prosecutor's office noted that law enforcement officers uncovered an illegal scheme, and the defendants did not receive the money. They are charged with articles Part 2, 3 of Art. 27, Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 1 of Art. 366, Part 3 of Art. 15, Part 4 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on official forgery, attempted misappropriation of property and complicity in a crime. The sanctions of the articles provide for up to 8 years of imprisonment.
It was previously reported that a state registrar will be tried in the capital, who allegedly illegally re-registered a land plot to her friend. Law enforcement officers established that the land belongs to the Kyiv community, its value is over 1.5 million hryvnias. The woman has already been reported suspicious. She is accused of re-registering four land plots worth over 3 million hryvnias to her mother. The materials of this case are under consideration by the court.
