Kyiv law enforcement officers have charged a Kyiv resident who works in the field of providing tourist services and visa support for foreigners with aiding and abetting the illegal smuggling of a foreigner to Ukraine and forging documents.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
According to the investigation, the woman provided a Chinese citizen with fictitious documents about employment in Ukraine. Such documents allow her to obtain a work visa to Ukraine and stay in the country legally for a long time.
The travel agency employee estimated the cost of such services at $4,900. She received a $2,000 deposit. The rest of the money was to be paid to her after all the documents were processed in Ukraine.

Law enforcement officers are also currently investigating her involvement in the fictitious employment of other Chinese citizens who entered Ukraine on work visas.
“In addition, it was established that the suspect provided a fake invitation to an Azerbaijani citizen for allegedly holding business negotiations. This simplified the foreigner's entry into Ukraine, because in order to cross the border, it is necessary to confirm the purpose of the trip,” the prosecutor's office said in a statement.
