
A group has been exposed in the Kyiv region. The participants are suspected of contributing to evasion of mobilization. The alleged organizer of the “scheme” has been detained.

A 46-year-old psychiatrist from a medical institution in the Kyiv region is suspected of organizing the illegal scheme. He is also a member of the VLK. According to the case materials, the defendant involved three more accomplices in his activities.
The investigation found that the suspects made fictitious diagnoses to men evading mobilization. These findings were then entered into medical information resources and the conscript's electronic account. The “services” cost from $1,500 to $10,000.
The police noted that during a series of searches, law enforcement officers seized material evidence confirming illegal activities. The psychiatrist was detained and reported on suspicion under Part 3 of Article 368 Acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an illegal benefit by an official of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. A pre-trial investigation is also underway under Part 3 of Art. 332 Illegal smuggling of persons across the state border of Ukraine of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanctions of the articles provide for up to 10 years of imprisonment.
The suspect has been placed in custody as a preventive measure. After the investigation is completed, it is planned to inform other members of the group about the suspicion.
It was previously reported that the capital's prosecutors sent the case materials regarding a 43-year-old resident of Vinnytsia to the court. According to the investigation, the man promised to negotiate for $5,200 to declare a conscript unfit for service and remove him from military service.
