“Creativity Boxes” have appeared in Kyiv's “invincibility points” of the State Emergency Service: what are they for?

“Creativity Boxes” for children's education and creativity have appeared in the mobile heating points of the State Emergency Service, which are located in different districts of the capital and have children's corners.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service on February 25.

Such “chests” are boxes with the necessary supplies for creativity or board games, but not only that.

The kits are useful for children and their parents, as they teach safety rules in a playful format, offer interactive exercises for mental resilience, and workshops on creating flickers — reflective elements to make little pedestrians visible on the road, particularly during power outages.

It was previously reported that new layers and filters have appeared on the Resilience Map in the “Kyiv Digital” application so that citizens can quickly find locations with heat and light. Mobile tents of the State Emergency Service have been added to the list of heating points, where you can warm up, eat, and charge your devices.

Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Valentyn Mondryivskyi reported that as of February 19, 14% of Kyiv's educational institutions remain without heating, including 62 schools. In some of these schools, students are studying remotely. They have also introduced the so-called educational migration to institutions where there is heat supply.
