
In the Svyatoshynskyi district of Kyiv, a woman wounded a man with a gun for making a remark to her. She is charged with hooliganism with the use of a weapon and faces up to seven years in prison.

According to the case file, a 27-year-old Kyiv resident made a remark to a company that was behaving noisily near his house. In response, a 43-year-old woman pulled out a gun and shot the man several times. He was hospitalized with wounds to his arm and abdomen, and the suspect fled the scene.

The officers identified the suspect and detained her. During a search of the suspect's residence, the police seized a pistol and ammunition and sent them for examination, the capital's police headquarters said.
Investigators charged the woman under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – hooliganism committed with the use of weapons. The sanction of the article provides for up to seven years of imprisonment.
