Kyiv law enforcement officers are checking information about the beating of a veteran in the premises of the district territorial recruitment center (TCK) and social support (SP) in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv.
This was reported to the Kyiv police.
Law enforcement officers said that, according to the veteran, he was beaten in the premises of the CCC in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv.
The man is currently in the hospital.
“An investigative and operational group has been sent to the medical facility to clarify all the circumstances and take a statement. The issue of the legal qualification of the event is being resolved,” the report says.
Later it became known that the victim was former political prisoner Volodymyr Balukh. He stated that he was beaten in the Shevchenkivskyi district territorial center for recruitment and social support in Kyiv. The capital's CCC denies the fact of the beating, saying that they checked the documents and sent Balukh to the VLK. Volodymyr Balukh said in a comment to Suspilne Krym that he had a bruised chest and shoulder.
The day before, the Kyiv City CCC denied information about increased mobilization measures in Kyiv.
Previously, Suspilne told the story of how a woman in Kyiv was mistakenly put on the wanted list as a “defector” from mobilization, although she is not subject to military registration. The woman has no medical or pharmaceutical education and did not apply to the CCK voluntarily. For several months, the Kyiv resident has been trying to prove that she was unjustly included in the register of those liable for military service and put on the wanted list.
