
The State Bureau of Investigation detained and reported the head of the civil-military cooperation group of one of the district CCCs and JVs in the Kyiv region to the police on suspicion. According to the investigation, the official humiliated conscripts, beat them, and filmed his actions.
This was reported by the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI).
According to the case materials, the officer repeatedly exceeded his official authority. In particular, he kicked mobilized people and then made video recordings of his behavior.
“His actions were systemic and indicate disregard for the requirements of the law and the basic principles of military service. Instead of fulfilling his duties as prescribed by law, the official used his official position to intimidate and physically influence citizens,” the report says.

Currently, the law enforcement officer has been informed of suspicion under Part 5 of Article 426-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – abuse of power under martial law, which caused significant damage. The sanction of the article provides for up to 12 years in prison.
The day before, it was reported that the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) had charged the former head of one of the district CCCs and JVs of the Kyiv region with abuse of power. Investigators found that the official had illegally seized 8 vehicles from two companies engaged in freight transportation. He had taken the trucks without proper documents, allegedly for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Due to the actions of the former head of the RTCC, the companies suffered losses in the amount of more than 4 million hryvnias.
