An unattended bag was found in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv on the territory of the Zarechnyi residential complex. Rescuers and law enforcement officers are checking it for explosives.
This was reported to the Public on Wednesday, February 25, by Kyiv police spokeswoman Anna Strashok.
“They found a bag without an owner. It's suspicious, law enforcement and the bomb disposal service are working on the scene. They're checking,” she said.
Last October, a man in Kyiv was sentenced to prison for reporting a bomb attack on an administrative building. The report was false, and the Kyiv resident will spend three years behind bars for it.
