In Irpen, Kyiv region, on the morning of May 18, a fire broke out on the territory of the Mashtorf enterprise. The fire covered about 5,000 square meters. The fire was extinguished.

As reported by the First Deputy Mayor of Irpin, Oleksandr Pashchynsky, the production facilities of “IrpinMash” and the “Bizi Puzzle” enterprise, which manufactures wooden toys, were set on fire. No people were injured.

Due to the rapid spread of the fire, the building was completely engulfed in flames from all sides. The total area of the fire reached about 5 thousand square meters. The fire damaged nearby enterprises, in particular, production facilities for the production of metal tiles and corrugated flooring, as well as an enterprise specializing in the production of well pipes.
12 units of fire and rescue equipment, as well as units of the voluntary civil defense formation of the Irpin city territorial community, were involved in extinguishing the fire. The causes of the fire are being established.
The State Emergency Service reported that the fire on the territory of the enterprise in Irpen broke out at 4:51 a.m. And at 8:50 a.m. it was extinguished on an area of 5,200 square meters.
