The court sentenced a man to 9 years in prison with confiscation of property for robbing an entrepreneur who was engaged in the purchase of generators in Kyiv.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
It was proven that in February 2023, a Kyiv resident organized a robbery and involved two more people in it.
They broke into the businessman's warehouse at night. When the man entered the premises and opened the safe containing money, the attackers took $57,500 from him.
The court found the man guilty of robbery by prior conspiracy by a group of persons with entry into the premises. He pleaded not guilty.
Two other defendants are currently serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, so the materials regarding them were separated into separate proceedings.
