Beginning January 31, Ukrainians aged 40 and older will be offered free medical check-ups through “Diya.” This initiative enables the detection of heart and vascular ailments, diabetes, and mental well-being issues.
Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, revealed the commencement of dispatching health screening invitations to citizens aged 40 and above via the “Diya” application, commencing on January 31. She communicated this on Telegram, UNN writes.
Preparations are underway to initiate the 40+ health check-up. Invitations for the screening in “Diya” will start reaching Ukrainians on January 31. The initial wave of invitations will be sent to individuals born in the early days of the year. Around 1 million of these citizens have already been informed about the program within “Diya.”

According to her statement, over 640 medical facilities have enrolled to participate in the initiative – these encompass hospitals that fulfill the criteria for specialists, equipment, and the standard of care. She reiterated that the screening initiative provides Ukrainians over 40 with the chance to undergo a complimentary basic medical examination and identify cardiovascular conditions, diabetes, and mental health problems at an early phase.
It will be feasible to complete a fundamental set of examinations swiftly and at a single location – bypassing individual appointments with the general practitioner and avoiding the necessity for referrals. This holds particular significance amidst a full-scale invasion, when time and resources for visiting physicians are limited.

Specifically, to enroll in the initiative: 30 days following your birthday in 2026, you will get a notification within the “Diya” application; upon validating your involvement, 2 thousand UAH, solely designated for health screening, will be automatically deposited into the “Diya.Card” within several days; in the event that an individual does not utilize “Diya”, 30 days subsequent to your birthday, you can establish a dedicated card at the bank and get in touch with the ASC.
