Lviv: Ten Terror Attack Survivors Still Hospitalized

In Lviv, a group of 10 casualties from the act of terror that transpired on February 22 are still receiving care in medical facilities. A pair of individuals have been released from these institutions.

Ten individuals hurt in the act of terror are still in Lviv’s medical centers, as UNN communicates, referencing the Lviv Municipality.

As shared by the local government, a further couple of those harmed in the terrorist incident that occurred in Lviv during the night of February 22 have been discharged from the hospitals belonging to the First Medical Association.

On the night of February 22, there were two explosions heard in Lviv’s city center. Beforehand, the “102” hotline received notification of a forced entry at a shop on Danylyshyna Street, number 20, in Lviv. Once the patrol unit got to the location, an explosion occurred. Upon the arrival of the second unit, there was another explosion. A 23-year-old policewoman passed away because of the terrorist action, and over 20 others suffered injuries.

Officers of the law were able to quickly pinpoint the individual tied to the terrorist action. The woman was taken into custody according to Article 208 of Ukraine’s Criminal Procedure Code in Stary Sambir.

On that same day, she was informed that she was suspected under Part 3 of Article 258, Part 1 of Article 263 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code – an act of terror that resulted in a person’s death, together with the unlawful handling of arms.

A 33-year-old, suspected of a terrorist event in Lviv’s downtown area, has been placed in custody for a term of 60 days, without the possibility of bail.
