Georgy Mankovsky, the Chief Executive Officer of the Cardiology and Heart Surgery Center, received the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, of the fifth degree, whereas his second-in-command, Serhiy Varbanets, was granted the Order of Merit, of the third degree. The honors were bestowed for a considerable individual input to nation building and scrupulous execution of professional duties.

Members of the medical field were distinguished with government accolades in observance of Ukraine’s Unity Day. According to a ruling from the President of Ukraine, the Director General of the Capital Cardiology and Heart Surgery Center, Georgy Mankovsky, was presented with the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, 5th class, while the Deputy Director of the Center, Doctor Serhiy Varbanets, received the Order of Merit, 3rd class.
