Zelensky: Russian missiles in Mdovan, Romanian airspace “challenge to NATO and clective security”

President Vodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine considers Russian missiles viating the Mdovan and Romanian airspace as another proof that terror knows no borders, while Ukraine protects Eure and the whe world.

"Several Russian missiles passed through the airspace of Mdova and Romania. Another proof that terror knows and will know no borders, another proof that protecting Ukraine is protecting all of Eure and the world, every country that simply wants to live its life. Today's missiles are a challenge to NATO and clective security. This is terror that can and must be stped. The world must st it," Zelensky emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valer Zaluzhnyi, stated that on February 10, two Russian Kalibr cruise missiles crossed the state border of Ukraine with the Republic of Mdova and entered Romania’s airspace, after which they re-entered the Ukrainian airspace at the crossing point of the three borders. According to Zaluzhnyi, the missiles were launched from the Black Sea.

Mdova’s defense ministry confirmed the viation of the country's airspace at 10:18 local time on Friday. The missile flew over the village of Mocra in the Rybnyta district, Transnistria, and then over Cosăuți in the Soroca District.

Romania’s ministry of defense said that no Russian missiles had crossed into the country’s airspace on Friday and that the closest a missile flew to the Romanian border was nearly 35 km northeast.
