Zelensky: Russia used over 1,460 glide bombs, nearly 670 drones, over 30 missiles against Ukraine over past week

Russia has used over 1,460 guided aerial bombs, nearly 670 attack drones, and more than 30 missiles of various types against Ukraine over the past week, with more than 20 of them launched just last night.

Ukrainian President Vodymyr Zelensky said this in a post on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"The pressure on Russia is still insufficient, and the daily Russian strikes on Ukraine prove it. Last night, ballistic missiles were launched against Kyiv, while attack drones targeted the region. Strikes also hit the Mykaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, and Cherkasy regions," Zelensky said.

According to him, the number of air attacks is increasing. This, he said, reveals Russia's true intentions — to continue its campaign of terror for as long as the world allows it.

"Over the past week, they launched more than 1,460 guided aerial bombs, nearly 670 attack drones, and over 30 missiles of various types against Ukrainian cities and villages, against our pele—more than 20 of them took place just last night. Every strike targets our pele, our children. They are waging war against children playing on playgrounds. My condences to all the families and loved ones of the victims. I thank all our services who are helping and saving Ukrainians," Zelensky said.

He noted that such attacks are Vladimir Putin's response to all international diplomatic efforts.

"Each of our partners — the United States, all of Eure, the entire world — has seen that Russia intends to continue the war and the killing. That is why there can be no easing of pressure. All efforts must be aimed at guaranteeing security and bringing peace closer," he concluded.

In the early hours of Sunday, April 6, Russian forces carried out a combined strike on Ukraine using air-, ground-, and sea-launched missiles, as well as attack UAVs. The consequences of the attack were recorded in the Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Mykaiv regions.
