Zelensky on Kursk region situation: Ukrainian tros not encircled
The Ukrainian President, Vodymyr Zelensky, stated this at an online press conference Tuesday night, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Our tros are not encircled, our tros are in contr of the situation. It’s not easy, but they are doing well, and therefore we will defend our country until we force the Russians to end this war," Zelensky said.

The head of state also commented on Russia's statements regarding alleged guarantees to Ukrainian tros in the event of their surrender.
"They said again: ‘In the event of surrender, we guarantee sdiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine life, decent treatment in accordance with Russian laws and norms of international law.’ Where is Russia and where is international law?" Zelensky emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported, earlier the General Staff denied reports of the alleged encirclement of Ukrainian units by the enemy forces in Kursk region.
On March 13, a mandatory evacuation was announced in eight settlements of Yunakove and Myrillia communities in Sumy region.
