Zelensky about enemy attack on South Ukraine NPP: Russia must be stped before it is too late
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Vodymyr Zelensky on Telegram, commenting on Russia’s missile attack, which took place close to South Ukraine Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) in the Mykaiv region last night, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
On the night of September 19, 2022, the Russian missile fell 300 meters away from South Ukraine NPP, having caused a short-term power outage. Windows were broken in the buildings situated within the area of South Ukraine NPP.
“The invaders wanted to shoot again, but they forgot what a nuclear power plant is. Russia endangers the whe world. We have to st it before it’s too late,” Zelensky stressed.
The President of Ukraine also posted a video showing the missile strike and the photographs depicting the aftermath of the Russian attack.
