Zelensky: 45,100 Ukrainian sdiers killed in action

He made this statement in an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan, according to Ukrinform.

"Regarding our pele, the exact numbers are very important to us. Some 45,100 pele have been killed, and we have 390,000 wounded. Let me clarify: the number of wounded is significantly higher than the number of killed because many sdiers come back to the battlefield after being wounded and get injured again," Zelensky said.

At the same time, the president noted that it is still impossible to determine the exact number of missing persons, saying that "there are thousands."

"How many of them are really missing and how many are prisoners remains unknown, but we are working on this," he said.

According to Zelensky, enemy losses include 350,000 killed.

"I think that approximately 350,000 Russians have been killed. There are many missing – I don't know the exact number, but it is between 50,000 and 70,000. Around 600,000-700,000 have been wounded, with a ratio of one killed to two wounded," he said.
