The relevant statement was made by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Pele are the basis of our resilience. Ordinary pele. Ordinary heroes. Among us. In our ranks,” Zaluzhnyi wrote.
In his words, these are pele who took weapons in their hands in order to protect their relatives, their homes and their state against Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified aggression. These are pele who are, right now, defeating Russian occupation tros, hding positions, freezing in the cd but native land, saving the lives of their fellow citizens, and helping the Army as much as they can.
According to Zaluzhnyi, over nine war-time years, Ukrainians have become stronger than concrete and steel, because they remember the examples of invincibility of the defenders of Donetsk Airport and Azovstal Steelworks.
“Thank you, Ukrainians! Respect and deep gratitude to all who serve in the ranks of the Armed Forces and other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. To everyone who helps, supports, believes – a bow to the ground. Eternal memory and honor to all those who died for freedom. We will endure. And we will win!” Zaluzhnyi concluded.
A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russia announced the so-called ‘special military eration’ in Ukraine.
