War update: Ukrainian forces down Russia’s Mi-24 attack helicter
The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Russian tros continue focusing efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions. They are also expanding personnel numbers.
Over the past day, Russian invaders launched 18 air strikes, including four with Lancet-type loitering munitions. The enemy also ened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) over 30 times.
In the Vyn, Pissia, Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the situation remained rather unchanged, No enemy offensive groupings were detected.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, a total of 17 settlements came under enemy fire.
In the Kherson direction, Russian invaders ened fire on 27 settlements situated on the right bank of the Dnieper.
In the Kherson region’s Chaplynka, Russian invaders introduced a 24-hour curfew from February 23 to February 25, 2023. The reason may be the transfer of military equipment from the temporarily occupied Crimea to reinforce the enemy’s defense line.
In the Kherson region’s Nova Kakhovka, Russian occupiers are inspecting local residents’ homes. They are checking registration records and ownership rights. In case of their absence, local residents are driven out of their homes within a week. Instead, the Russian military are accommodated there.
