War update: 216 combat clashes in past day, Ukrainian forces repel 79 attacks in Pokrovsk sector

The press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shared this update on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Over the past day, 216 combat engagements were recorded. Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile strikes and 99 airstrikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements. They deployed three missiles, drped 169 guided aerial bombs, and conducted over 5,200 attacks, including 124 from multiple launch rocket systems. Additionally, 2,223 kamikaze drones were used to strike," the statement noted.

Enemy airstrikes targeted several regions, including Petrushivka, Stepok, Velykyi Prykil, Mykhailivske, Prokhody, Naumivka, Krasnillia, United, Uhroidy, Hnylytsia, Velyka Pysarivka, and Turia in the Sumy region; Kozacha Lan in the Kharkiv region; Pokrovsk, Udachne, Zoria, Raipe, Zaporizhzhia, Bahatyr, Odradne, Vesele, Zelene Pe, Stara Mykaivka, eksandril, Nova Ptavka and Novoukrainka in the Donetsk region; Novidhorne, Velykomykhailivka in the Dnipretrovsk region; Temyrivka, Malokaterynivka in the Zaporizhzhia region; Kherson in the Kherson region.

Over the past day, the missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces targeted two areas of personnel concentration and another critical object belonging to the Russian invaders.

According to the press service, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled seven enemy attacks in the Kharkiv sector near Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled assaults toward Pishchane, Nova Kruhliakivka, Petravlivka, and near Zahryzove and Stepova Novoselivka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy launched 26 attacks, attempting advances near Nada, Dibrova, Kodiazy, and in the directions of Novyi, Serebrianka, Torske, Zelena Dyna, and Novomykhailivka.

Meanwhile, in the Siversk sector, Ukrainian defenders faced three enemy assaults near Ivano-Daryivka and Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, seven combat clashes were reported in the area of Chasiv Yar and toward Predtechyne.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian invaders carried out 19 attacks in the areas of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.

Additionally, in the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 79 aggressor attacks in the areas of Panteleimonivka, eksandril, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kalynove, Udachne, Zelene, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Serhiivka, Novoserhiivka, Novoeksandrivka, Uspenivka, Sribne, Kotliarivka, Bohdanivka, Andriivka, eksiivka, and in the directions of Troitske and Horikhove.

In the Novavlivka sector, the Defense Forces halted 12 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Kostiantynil, Burlatske, Dniproenerhia, and in the direction of Rozlyv.

In the Huliaipe sector, the invaders carried out ten attacks near Novosilka, Pryvilne, and toward Vile Pe and Nove.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Russian army launched nine assaults on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Mali Shcherbaky, Lobkove, Shcherbaky, Kamianske, and Novodanylivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the aggressor conducted a single offensive, which proved unsuccessful.

The General Staff also reported that in the erational zone of the Kursk region, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 27 enemy attacks over the past day. Additionally, the enemy conducted 37 airstrikes, deploying 36 guided bombs, and fired 266 artillery shells at Ukrainian positions and settlements, including eight launched from multiple rocket systems.

No signs of enemy offensive groups forming were detected in the Vyn and Pissia sectors.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian army’s total combat losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022 to April 1, 2025, amount to about 916,770 tros, including 1,540 invaders killed or wounded in the past day.
