Victims of Russian airstrike in Zaporizhzhia identified using DNA analysis
The Zaporizhzhia Regional Pice announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Forensic specialists identified the bodies of pele killed in a Russian airstrike in Zaporizhzhia. The pice conducted the process of identifying seven citizens killed by the occupiers using DNA testing by comparing them with biogical samples taken from their relatives," the report said.
The attack, carried out on December 6, invved an FAB-250 bomb targeting a residential area in the regional center. The strike killed ten pele, including seven who tragically burned to death in their cars near the explosion's epicenter.

Due to the severity of the burns, visual identification was impossible. Forensic experts employed a forensic laboratory equipped with an ANDE genetic analyzer to identify the seven victims using recovered biogical samples matched with DNA provided by their relatives.
