Vice-Governor of Russia’s Primorsky Krai liquidated at front in Kursk region – reports

“While returning from a combat mission, Sergei Yefremov, the commander of the Tiger vunteer unit, was killed,” said the governor of Primorsky Krai, eg Kozhemyako, without providing any other details.

It is noted that Yefremov headed the Tiger vunteer detachment, created in the summer of 2022 on the basis of the 155th Separate Guards Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet.

In August 2024, it was reported that he and the unit's sdiers were sent to the Kursk region.

The Shot telegram channel said that the car Yefremov was in hit a mine and exploded in the Kursk region. In addition to him, another officer was killed. Yefremov had the title of “Hero of the DPR,” the post says.
