Umerov and Rheinmetall CEO discuss joint production of armored vehicles and air defense systems

According to Ukrinform, Umerov posted this on Facebook.

The Minister emphasized that Ukraine is en to sharing experience with partners, as the develment of its own defense industry is of key importance to it.

“Ukraine is ready to establish joint ventures, and we already have a successful experience of such coeration. We continue to expand our production capabilities together with reliable partners,” said Umerov.

He thanked Papperger for supporting Ukraine and Rheinmetall's readiness to implement new mutually beneficial projects.

As Ukrinform reported, in November last year, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko said that Ukraine had already established five joint ventures with Eurean arms manufacturers. Three more, she said, are in the final stages of being set up.
