Ukrainian marines destroy 12 invaders, two tanks, Giatsint gun in Donetsk region – Navy
Ukrainian marines have destroyed 12 invaders, two tanks and a Giatsint self-prelled gun in the Donetsk direction over the past day.
According to Ukrinform, the press service of the Ukrainian Navy said this in a Telegram post.
"On August 20, service members of the units of the Command of the Naval Infantry Corps of the Ukrainian Navy steadfastly and courageously resisted the Russian invaders on the fortified sections of the front line. In the Donetsk direction, the marines destroyed two tanks, an armored personnel carrier and a car with enemy ammunition," the report said.
It added that Ukrainian artillery units struck concentrations of military personnel and equipment of the invaders, killing and wounding 12 invaders and destroying a Giatsint-S self-prelled howitzer.
The final losses of the enemy are being determined.
