Ukrainian forces shoot down 33 enemy drones, another 37 lost from tracking

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have shot down 33 drones used by the Russian army to attack Ukraine since the evening of February 14.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Starting at 20:30 on February 14, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 70 Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of decoy drones launched from the areas of Russia’s Orel, Millerovo, Prymorsko-Akhtarsk, and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea).

Ukraine’s anti-aircraft missile tros, EW units, and mobile fire groups repelled that enemy air attack.

As of 09:00 on Saturday, February 15, 33 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones were confirmed downed in the Mykaiv, Kharkiv, Ptava, Dnipretrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions.

As many as 37 enemy decoy drones were lost from tracking (without negative consequences).
